Tamini Ghats & Mulshi Dam:

The Western Ghats just come alive during monsoons and it is the only time when you can visit this part of India. Visited Tamini recently and just fell in love the place. The place has an aura of a fairytale set up with falls falling from mountains straight on to the roads as you drive across. There are numerous falls one after another and you can just jump in any one of them for a dip. Mulshi also has a gushing waterfall and it is worth a visit. A two-hour drive from Pune is enough to cover the entire area and spent a day in the awe of monsoons and the beauty they bring along.
