Dr. Reddy’s Cheerio Gel Review

In today’s time when nothing is chemical free, we keep on wondering what can be the best product as a kid’s toothpaste, especially when oral hygiene in kids is an issue and there are ‘n’ number of brands to choose from. You want to start with something that is non-toxic and non-hazardous, as kids tend to swallow the toothpaste. You wish to have something that can save your child from visiting a dentist for wrong reasons and is free or has the least chemicals.

And your wish this time can actually turn true!!!

To me, this was suggested by a family dentist and I have been using this for my son from one and a half year, a toothpaste named ‘Cheerio’.  So here is my review for the same.

It is a Fluoride Medicated Oral Gel (with a fluoride content of 458ppm) manufactured in India by :

Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.

Packaging : It comes in a plastic tube and has a cute chicken on its cap. The tube comes in a cartoon box giving the details of Manufacturing and Expiry dates.

Price: MRP says Rs.82 for 75grams

Place to buy it from: You can find it at any Pharmacy store near you.

Colour : It has a bright and attractive red colour.

Consistency : It is Gel based.

Flavour: As the packaging says ‘ My taste- My paste’ , kids are going to enjoy the fruity taste of the paste.

How to use it : You just need to apply pea sized of the paste on the brush and let the child brush his teeth twice a day.

My say about the product :

To all the mom’s who are looking for a safe and pocket friendly product for their child’s dental care, should go for this one. This is something really effective, affordable and non-toxic. It is fluoride tested and much safer than other dental products for kids. For me it’s the best toothpaste for kids and toddlers.

My rating on the product :

5 on 5.

PS: This product is good for the kids of age 1-6/8 . Above that age kids need more fluoride content for an effective dental care. (As told by my doctor)

This is not a paid or sponsored review. Results may vary for everyone.
