Itsy Bitsy Spider

As I opened my eyes this morning with a bit of migraine and an off-mood, my baby was already awake looking at me and smiling and the utterance of the word ‘mumma’ made me forget my pain and everything.

Later, when he was bored, I asked him he wanted to do colouring or drawing and he said ‘Itsy Bitsy banate hain’(Let’s make Itsy Bitsy Spider) and we made this, using his tiny little fingers and then I looked at what we made together.

It was a teaching for me.

‘The itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain
And the itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the spout again’

My life is just like the life of Itsy Bitsy Spider. Every time I want to climb up high it’s something or the other that pulls me back. All I need is not to lose hope and always keep on trying by doing what I want to and supposed to. I need to be patient and wait for my sun to be there so that the rain can dry up and there is nothing to pull me down and then I can climb up high pushing down all my obstacles.

I guess this was a hint from heaven for me so that I don’t lose hopes and feel defeated. So for everyone…you keep getting hints from above. All you need to do is keep your mind and heart open and be positive…Always.

My new identity is I am a mother of a two year old. I am a teacher and a learner too but as of now a SAHM or rather WFHM as I always like to be financially independent...
